Target Corporation India, the local arm of US-based retail giant Target, has selected six startups for the sixth batch of its flagship Target Accelerator Program in the country.

Target said in a statement that the startups will be part of a four-month intensive programme focused on transformative and technology-driven ideas to create solutions for the retail environment.

They will work on developing customised retail solutions using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing and analytics.

Target added that these startups will have access to mentors, tools, resources and operational support as well as workspace at Target’s Bengaluru offices.

Launched in December 2013, Target Accelerator Program gives startups a platform to develop, scale and test their products in a live retail environment. Thus far, 30 startups have graduated from the programme.

Point105-AR: Chennai-based Point 105-AR provides a holistic 3D asset management solution for augmented reality experiences.

Quilt.ai: Singapore-based Quilt.ai applies human empathy to research at scale by using artificial intelligence tools to build a large research and action platform.

Moodboard: Delhi-based Moodboard Analytics provides a tool that leverages artificial intelligence to provide insights on product performance trends that aid in future product design.

Eder.ai: Eder.ai offers a distributed computing platform with blockchain-grade encryption which enables secure artificial intelligence to help scale research and unearth new intelligence.

StylDod: StylDod provides a tool that automatically converts floor plans into 3D designed rooms.
