Nokia launches flagship Lumia 930, 830 & 730 smartphones in India, prices starting at Rs 15,299 After unveiling the same in April this year, Nokia has now launched its flagship smartphone Lumia 930 in the Indian market. The device sports a 5 inch display and runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It is available for purchase for a price of Rs 38,649. In addition, the company has also launched two new Lumia devices in the country, including Lumia 830 and 730.

A toned down version of the Lumia 930, Nokia is touting Lumia 830 as the 'affordable' flagship smartphone. This one is priced at Rs 28,799. Lastly, Lumia 730 is basically a selfie smartphone, since it has a 5 megapixel front facing camera that is also capable of full high definition video recording. Targeted at the mid-price range segment of the market, it is available for Rs 15,299.

Lumia-930Lumia 930 for Rs 38,649

The smartphone has a 5 inch full HD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display (1920×1080 pixel resolution) and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and has 2GB of RAM. The internal memory of the device is 32GB. Nokia has not provided a microSD card slot for further memory expansion in the smartphone.

Lumia 930 has a 20 mega pixel autofocus rear camera (has Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilisation) with dual-LED Flash that can record full HD videos (1080p) at 30 frames per second, as well as a 1.2 MP front facing camera that can also record HD videos (720p) at 30 fps. On the connectivity front, the device has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE (depending on the region), and a microUSB port.

The dimensions of the device are 137 mm x 71 mm x 9.8 mm and its weight is 167 gm. The company has provided a 2,420 mAh battery with the device, which it claims will provide up to 11.5 hours of talk time and 432 hours of standby time. The smartphone has FM Radio, GPS (with A-GPS support), and comes with Near Field Communication (NFC).

This one sports a 5 inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display (1280×720 pixel resolution) with 296 ppi pixel density and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. The internal memory of the device is 16GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Lumia 830 has a 10 MP autofocus rear camera (has Carl Zeiss optics and OIS) with LED Flash that can record full HD videos (1080p) at 30 fps, as well as a 0.9 MP front facing camera that can also record HD videos (720p) at 30 fps. On the connectivity front, the device has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G LTE (depending on the region), as well as a microUSB port and a microSD card slot.

The dimensions of the device are 139.4 mm x 70.7 mm x 8.5 mm and its weight is 150 gm. The company has provided a 2,200 mAh battery with the device, which it claims will provide up to 15 hours of talk time and 528 hours of standby time. The smartphone has FM Radio, GPS (with A-GPS support), and comes with NFC. It is available in black, green, white and black colours.

Lumia 730Lumia 730 for Rs 15,299

The youngest member of the Lumia trio sports a slightly smaller 4.7 inch HD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display (1280×720 pixel resolution) with 316 ppi pixel density and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. The internal memory of the device is 8GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Primarily a selfie smartphone, Lumia 730 has a 6.7 MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash that can record full HD videos at 30 fps, as well as a 5 MP front facing camera that can also record full HD videos. On the connectivity front, the device has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and 3G, as well as a microUSB port and a microSD card slot.

The dimensions of the device are 134.7 mm x 68.5 mm x 8.7 mm and its weight is 130.4 gm. The company has provided a 2,220 mAh battery with the device, which it claims will provide up to 17 hours of talk time and 528 hours of standby time. The smartphone has FM Radio, GPS (with A-GPS support), and comes with NFC. It is also available in black, green, white and black colours.

The company is also providing 1TB of free OneDrive storage with the devices- but not without a catch. The free storage is available only for duration of six months, post which the company will charge Rs 150 per month for the same.
