SM-G800H_GS5 mini_Black_11After rumours of the same doing the round (and a pre-launch specs leak), Samsung has finally unveiled a compact version of its flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone. Christened S5 mini, the device is outfitted with a smaller 4.5 inch display (in comparison to the 5.1 display of S5), allowing for easy operation with only one hand. It will be available for purchase in Russia later this month, post which it will be launched in other markets (including India).

While an exact India pricing and launch date is not available for the smartphone as of now, we feel it should be priced between Rs 25-30,000 in the country. Primarily because its big brother, which was launched for Rs 51,500 in India in April this year, is now available for as low as Rs 35,280 on a number of e-commerce sites.

Here is a look at the specifications of the device.
