Hungama Digital in pact with US-based Adsmobi to monetise mobile inventory

Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd has entered into a partnership with global mobile media buying platform Adsmobi Inc for mobile advertising to monetise all-India inventory. As a part of the partnership, Hungama India will monetise Adsmobi's premium advertising traffic in India, bringing more brand advertisers to the mobile arena in India.

Adsmobi, a US-based mobile media buying platform that focuses on placing successful mobile campaigns for mobile advertisers, delivers premium advertising traffic for advertisers through partnerships with leading mobile mediation and optimisation platforms.

Adsmobi currently serves more than 40 billion ad requests monthly, leveraging its links with 60,000+ mobile app developers.  Ramy Yared, co-founder and MD, Adsmobi Inc commented on the partnership, "Adsmobi Inc generated increasing revenues and ties to advertisers in the mobile advertising industry of India. It is one of our core emerging markets".

Yared said he was betting on Hungama Digital Media Entertainment's strong foothold in the local media industry along with Adsmobi's capabilities in mobile advertising to deliver in  India's mobile ecosystem.

Siddhartha Roy, COO, consumer business & allied services, Hungama Digital Media said, "With our partnership with Adsmobi Inc, we will be able to provide the platform to enable agencies and brands to develop mobile rich campaigns."

Roy said the boom in App economy has set the stage for driving the next level of growth for mobile advertising in India along with economical smart phones and increased video consumption trends. Brands realize the potential of the medium and soon mobile marketing will be an essential part of the marketing mix plan, he said.
