Ozone Media Ropes In Chetana Anagol From AOL As VP, Operations & Delivery
Ad Network Ozone Media has brought on board Chetana Anagol as vice-president — operations and delivery. Till recently, she was with AOL Media as vice-president where she was responsible for supporting digital publishing for the USA, EU and ANZ portals.
At Ozone, she will oversee publisher management, ad operations, campaign management, business intelligence and sales planning.
With nearly two decades of experience in technology and operations, she had previously worked with companies like Commerce One, Go.com, Internet Shopping Network and Worldview Systems (Travelocity), to name a few. An alumnus of the University of California, Los Angeles, she had also completed an executive programme from IIM Ahmedabad.
Kiran Gopinath, founder and chief executive of Ozone Media, said, “Operational excellence is one of our key business priorities. Anagol’s significant industry experience and critical insights with a proven track record in the Internet industry will help us grow further.”
This comes as a back-to-back senior hire by the firm. Last week, Ozone Media roped in Sanjay Vasudeva as senior vice-president (sales) to help drive customer growth, develop new business relationships and oversee client servicing across India.
The ad network had also appointed Balasubramanian V as a vice-president a few months ago, to lead strategic technology initiatives to increase Ozone Media’s offerings in the market.
Founded in 2006, Ozone Media competes with Komli, VDopia, Sulekha, Tyroo, Media Estate, IndiAds and AdsForIndians, and claims to be among the top three names in the business. Its clients include HSBC, SBI, ICICI, Yahoo!, Dell, Lenovo, Cleartrip, In.com, Britannia, Huggies, Virgin Mobile, Timesjobs.com and SimplyM, among others.
