Weekly roundup on startup funding

In the week gone by, seven startups received angel/seed and venture capital funding. In the biggest deal of the week, San Jose-based enterprise data warehousing company Infoworks received $15 million in a Series B round of funding led by Centerview Capital Technology and existing investor Nexus Venture Partners also participated in the round.

Among the other deals, Delhi-based Supremus Group's drinking water initiative JanaJal secured an investment commitment of up to $5 million from US-based social impact fund Tricolor Clean Capital while Mumbai-based mass market data and loyalty company MPaani Solutions received $1.35 million in a pre-Series A round of funding led by IDG Ventures India, Blume Ventures and Saha Fund.
