In the week gone by, 16 startups received angel/seed and venture capital funding. The biggest deal involved data centre and cloud services provider Pi Datacenters, based out of Andhra Pradesh's capital Amaravati, raising $23 million in a Series A round of funding from Epsilon Venture Partners and an Australian private equity firm.
In other deals, Gurgaon-based online business-to-business marketplace OfBusiness secured $11.1 million in Series B funding from Zodius Technology Opportunities Fund and existing investor Matrix Partners. Fintech startup Indifi Technologies raised $10 million in a Series B round led by Omidyar Network, with participation from existing investors Accel India and Elevar Equity.
Mumbai's Resfeber Labs Pvt Ltd, which runs logistics marketplace Porter, received $10 million in a Series B round of funding from Sequoia Capital, KAE Capital Management and Mahindra Partners, a private equity and venture capital division of Mahindra Group.
