Gurgaon-based Relevant e-solutions Pvt. Ltd, which runs fashion discovery app Roposo, has hired former Delhivery executive Anand Jha as head of design and Saurabh Khullar as head of sales.
Jha will look after the entire user interface and experience while Khullar will be responsible to set up monetisation channels across India for the fashion social network, as per a press statement.
The senior level appointments come barely four months after the company raised $5 million (around Rs 34 crore) in the second leg of its Series B round from Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
"Roposo has had a phenomenal growth story so far. As we prepare to helm the company into its next level of evolution, we are pleased to welcome Saurabh and Anand on board to lead the key divisions of sales and design," said Avinash Saxena, co-founder, Roposo.
Jha is an alumnus of IIT Delhi with a master's in industrial design. He has 10 years of experience in building and managing interdisciplinary teams in the product design and strategy functions. He was previously with Delhivery as senior manager - technology. Jha has also worked with Siemens and General Motors.
Khullar is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and has worked for companies including ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel Ltd. He was also founder of Ideacts Innovations, a Sequoia Capital-funded internet startup. In his most recent assignment, Khullar was heading the ad business for Ananda Bazar Patrika's digital arm.
Founded in July 2014 by IIT Delhi alumni Mayank Bhangadia, Saxena and Kaushal Shubhank, Roposo is a fashion social network that offers curated fashion choices across categories such as apparels, footwear, accessories and lingerie from over 550 web stores and 6,500 brands. A mobile-only platform, Roposo claims to have 3 million users on its platform.
