Techcircle.in is pleased to announce the names of 10 startups that have been chosen for the Showcase session at the Kerala edition of Techcircle Startup Tour 2016. Scheduled to be held on June 16 at the Le Meridien, Kochi, the conference, will bring forth multiple showcase pitches, informative panels and create an impressive platform for startups to meet investors from across the country.
The showcase session, specifically, will have early-stage and pre-revenue startups in Kerala share innovative ideas and business propositions with expert jury, angel and VC investors as well as fellow entrepreneurs. The jury includes Kalyan Sivalenka, MD & CEO, Springforth Capital Advisors; Arun Nair, Head of Operations- 10000 Startups Kochi, NASSCOM; Pradeep Tagare, Investment Director, Intel Capital; Srikrishna Ramamoorthy, Partner, Unitus Seed Fund and Siddhartha Das, General Partner, Ventureast.

Agrima Infotech’s Recipe Book: Recipe Book is an intelligent Cooking App on Android Play store which solves recipe discovery problem with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). It is first the company in the recipe space to introduce deep learning and computer vision and is bestowed with the honour of being picked as the Google Editors’ Choice last month.
Sathwic Consulting’s Instio: Instio is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps clients improve their customer experience and client retention, measuring with Net Promoter Score. The system automatically measures, analyses feedback and has close-loop tools to retain customers better, and reduce churn. Insights provided by Instio helps managers take right decisions to improve the business operations.
Metro360 Services Pvt. Ltd: Metro360 is a hyper local platform which helps the user to get connected to skilled labours for household services in less time. It provides services mainly in 13 different categories which include carpentry, electrical, cleaning and flooring work, painting, plumbing, interior furnishing, and home appliance servicing.
Spenwise Payment Solutions: Spenwise is a financial tool for the young generation. It consists of a prepaid debit card and a mobile app. Parents can load money into different categories of the card like food, fuel and fashion, among others. They can also set spending and allowance limits. Children can also set goals and complete tasks to earn money for themselves. Parents can track all transactions and also block specific inappropriate merchants.
ThoughtRipples Technologies’s makeandmanage.com: Makeandmanage.com is a DIY platform to create native mobile applications which aims to solve issues like high costs in mobile app development, longer time to develop a mobile applications and high maintenance cost.
RUBY Software’s SuccessDart: SuccessDart is a SaaS application aimed at implementing a modern Performance Management process in organisations. The new age thinking of ‘performance achievement’ approach focuses on the achievements and talents of each employee. The product addresses these changing needs of the companies.
VST Travel Solutions Pvt. Ltd’s VehicleST: VehicleST (safe trip) is a multimodal and hyperlocal real-time bidding platform for any travel and transport needs. Based on the mobile application platform, it helps location-based real time bidding for services that include commuting vehicles, utility vehicles and emergency vehicle services
VRnxt’s ArchVR: ArchVR provides a realistic tour of the apartments through Bluetooth enabled headsets helping users navigate inside the house as he/she pleases—change the colours, materials and interiors of the apartment in real-time and chose the interior that the customer love. It helps customers try as many different apartments they wish, shortlist the ones they like and visit later, enabling them to save a lot of time.
Infofac Consultancy LLP’s Plingd: Plingd is a double-ended mobile application product with an entertainment channel on one end and offers application on the other for general public. Plingd is a regionally focused, aggregated entertainment space which is completely free for the end-users. It provides a targeted marketing platform with intelligent targeting frameworks.
Eathot Eservices: Eathot has three products. Eathot.in/Eathot app for smartphones is a food ordering portal that aggregates the best restaurants in the neighbourhood. Eathot Restaurant app is a smartphone application for hoteliers which updates the food inventory status and order status. The app also allows the hotelier to connect to the customer through Eathot, in case food items are not available. Eathot delivery app allocates the order to a delivery boy based on the location of the hotel and customer. It also helps customers track the order.
