Panasonic has further expanded its range of smartphones in the country with the launch of a new device. Christened P55, the smartphone runs on the Android operating system and sports a 5.5 inch display. Targeted at the mid-price range segment of the market, it has been priced at Rs 10,290 in India.
In addition, Gionee has also introduced the successor to its Marathon M2 smartphone. Called Marathon M3, this one is all about the battery- as the name already suggests. The device has a mammoth 5,000 mAh battery which Gionee claims will provide over two days of talk time and over a month of standby time. While the device is listed on the company's India website sans a price tag, it is available on e-commerce stores like eBay for Rs 13,499.

This one sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display (720Ã—1280 pixels resolution) and runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. It also comes with a single hand operable music player called 'Music cafÃ©'.
