Bangalore-based PageStitch Inc, the company behind Tydy , a mobile collaboration tool for sales and marketing teams, has raised $138,000 (about Rs 85 lakh) from a group of individuals, led by Hareesh Ramanna, MD of BORQS Software, with participations from Bhupen Shah, co-founder of SlingBox; Nikhil Ramanlal, director of Atandra; and Soumitra Sharma, former associate at IDG Ventures. The capital was raised via LetsVenture, an online platform that connects startups with accredited investors.
"We will use the capital to hire people and also to ramp up our sales & marketing activities. This will help the two-man team to grow to team of four-five people," Kiran Menon, co-founder & CEO of Tydy told Techcircle.in.
The startup was founded in late 2013 by Kiran Menon and Nikhil Gurjer. Menon had earlier worked at Opera Software in the field of product, design and sales, while Gurjer is a software engineer with experiences working with NetPay and Captain Public.
