phabletAfter entering the Indian tablet market by launching XOLO Tab in September last year, Lava's sub-brand XOLO has started the new year 2014 with the launch of a 5.7 inch phablet. It measures 164.8mm x 81.6mm x 8.9mm and according to the company, the phablet's 4,000 mAh battery will provide up to 21 (3G) & 33 (2G) hours of talk time and over 634 (3G) & 667 (2G) hours of standby time. In addition, it will offer up to 9 hours of browsing, 74 hours of music playback, and 9 hours of video playback. The device also has GPS (with A-GPS support), dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capability, and will be available in white and black colours.

However, whether the XOLO brand will be able to entice consumers enough to make a purchase is another matter all together.

A few days earlier, the company had also launched its first 4G LTE smartphone called XOLO LT900.
