Online book reader startup Bookpad & cloud-based healthcare provider Praxify picked for Microsoft Ventures' accelerator programme

Bookpad-PraxifyBangalore-based Bookpad Technologies Pvt Ltd, which develops digital reading solutions, and Pune-based Xtremum solutions Pvt Ltd, which offers Praxify, a cloud-based practice management solution for medical practitioners, have been selected for Microsoft Ventures' accelerator programme.

This announcement was made by Microsoft Ventures general manager Rahul Sood, in an interview with YourStory.in.

Founded early this year by three IIT graduates—Aditya Bandi, Ashwik Reddy and Niketh Sabbineni, Bookpad is working in the space of document formats and making content on the cloud more accessible to users/customers. It provides an enterprise product called docspad.com that enables customers to provide preview, edit and manage any documents on their cloud - right in their application user interface. Xtremum is a healthcare technology services and solutions company working to connect various players in the healthcare ecosystem. Its flagship product Praxify is a cloud-based physician practice management solution with an integrated native iPad and web-based EHR (electronic health record) application. The company was founded by Abhijit Gupta, who holds a degree in Computer Science from University of Pune.
