FrroleFrrole, part of Microsoft Ventures Accelerator's current batch, has launched its new Twitter data-based offering targeted at media and entertainment verticals.

Frrole is a social intelligence engine that performs analysis across millions of data units in real time. It uses this analysis to build a local buzz graph where Frrole knows what each neighbourhood, city and country is talking about. The new product launched is for the enterprise sector.

This Twitter data-based offering has three components—data APIs that allow clients to access Frrole data streams and use them to build or plug into any application and a visual suite that allows clients to select and integrate plug and play display applications into their products. It also comprises solutions allowing Frrole to work closely with clients for a large project that requires complex data interactions.

"Customers can now use Frrole to extract curated, precise content related to topics, location, products or campaigns, and integrate it within their applications," said Amarpreet Kalkat, co-founder and CEO, Frrole.

Giving an example on how this service can be used, Kalkat said this solution can be used to display tweets/photos shared by users during a product launch by any company. "The company can also derive insights from social conversations—for example, for determining who is the most talked about celebrity in India in real time," he said.

While Frrole's focus will be on the media and entertainment industry, this new product can also be used by brands, said the official statement. The company claims to have reached more than half a million users a month since its beta launch in April last year. Started with 20 cities, the startup now covers more than 55 cities in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, India and Singapore, and aims to cover over 100 cities worldwide in the near future.
