Supam Maheshwari co-founded Firstcry.com with Amitava Saha (director) in late 2010. Maheshwari had quit his previous entrepreneurial venture, Brainvisa Technologies, an e-learning company, and joined hands with Saha, previously the head of sales and business operations at Brainvisa, to launch the Pune-based e-commerce startup. In February 2012, the company raised $14 million in Series B from IDG Ventures India and SAIF Partners. Prior to that, it had raised $4 million from SAIF in April 2011. The company has also been expanding its offline footprint to 21 cities, taking the total number of its stores to 26 across 11 states. In an exclusive video interview with Techcircle, Maheshwari talks about the company's road ahead, including its expansion plans. Watch the video for more.
