Local search and classifieds platform Getit has announced partnership with Yahoo where Getit will power the search results under Yahoo Local. This means Getit's entire databases of more than three million business listings will be accessible to Yahoo users on Yahoo Local. Any search conducted on Yahoo Local will automatically land on a co-branded section which will be powered by Getit.
Yahoo claims to have 40 million unique users and the Yahoo front page averages 5.6 million unique users every day. Moreover, Yahoo searches corresponding to local needs will throw up the listings from Getit, depending upon relevance, location and keywords.
Commenting on the partnership, Getit CEO Siddharth Gupta said, "This is a very significant partnership as it brings the power of Getit's databases to Yahoo users and likewise, brings the immense distribution of Yahoo to Getit's advertisers and SMEs. It is a privilege to be partnering a leading brand like Yahoo to bring powerful yet simple solutions to our users and advertisers."
Getit Infoservices Pvt Ltd is a digital marketing company and offers a platform for local searches, classifieds, micro communities and deals.
