Smile Vun Group (SVG), a tie up between Manish Vij’s Vun Network and Harish Bahl’s Smile Group, has announced the launch of PrecisionMatch , a data providing company for digital marketing initiatives.
PrecisionMatch is a data provider for ad networks in the APAC region covering India, South-East Asia and Middle East. Claiming to be the first such player in the APAC region, PrecisionMatch is aimed to improve the performance of internet display advertising through the use of audience data. Launched today, PrecisionMatch is being led by Nitin Chowdhary, who was working as business head and VP at Tyroo Media, another venture of SVG.
Smile Vun Group will invest in the venture initially and they expect it to break even after 2 years. This project has been undertaken out of previous funding and internal accruals said Manish Vij, Founder, Vun Network.
Other group companies of SVG include digital ad network Tyroo, SeventyNine , digital marketing agency Quasar and travel search engine Zoomtra.
“Over the near future, we have two goals. One is to expand coverage geographically and second is to go mobile,” said Nitin Chowdhary, business head, PrecisionMatch. He also added that their customer base and targeted users are the ad networks who will, in turn, use the data provided by PrecisionMatch for their media placements. But, the revenue source for PrecisionMatch will be the various ad networks that can buy the data from the company.
PrecisionMatch’s clientele includes players like Samsung, Data Motors, Expedia, Snapdeal.
