Indian software giant Infosys Technologies has launched a Cloud Ecosystem Hub, which enables enterprises manage their cloud applications and infrastructure through a single platform, thereby helping them improve productivity and save cost to a large extent.
The company has collaborated with over 30 providers of Cloud infrastructure, applications and platforms including Amazon Web Services, Dell, HP, IBM, Microsoft and VMware for the new service.
The unified self-service catalog feature in the Hub enables enterprises to quickly subscribe to relevant IT and business services across multiple environments. It also provides customers with a single-window view of the enterprise cloud system, across private and public cloud and on-premise IT.
Customers will be given a variety of options in their engagements with vendors and will have the option to tie up with a cloud infrastructure provider or leave it to Infosys to manage the relationship with the provider.
"Our clients are dealing with complexities of a fragmented Cloud environment. The Infosys Cloud Ecosystem Hub provides organisations a unified gateway to build, manage and govern their hybrid cloud ecosystem. This solution allows clients to fully realise the benefits from the long-standing promise of the Cloud," said Vishnu Bhat, Vice-President and Global Head - Cloud, Infosys.
