Ozone Media Enters Mobile Advertising Biz; Ties Up With Times Internet For IPL 5 Inventory

Ad network Ozone Media has struck a deal with Times Internet Ltd to become its exclusive sales partner for IPL 2012 for WAP, Android and BlackBerry applications, thus foraying into the mobile advertising segment. Last year, Times Internet had won the global Internet, mobile and radio rights for IPL for 2011-2014.

"Mobile advertising is expected to grow sevenfold in the next five years. It is a lucrative opportunity and a natural progression for us. With an inventory pool of 40 million unique audience spread across premium publishers and our stellar relationships with publishers, this channel will be our next inflection point," said Kiran Gopinath, CEO & founder of Ozone Media.
