Marketing and media solutions startup Group FMG has launched an online portal called Cleargain to help small businesses to build and grow their digital presence. The portal will help businesses to buy domains, build websites, create custom marketing campaigns, social communities, and e-commerce experiences to navigate changes in the marketing landscape.
Additionally the service will also provide tools to measure social media performance, enhance search optimisation and promote products and services through interactive digital catalogues.
The New York-headquartered firm which has offices in London, Bangalore and Chennai intends to extend Cleargain's services to clients with large networks of small businesses and across multiple touch points.
According to Dilip Keshu, global CEO of Group FMG, "There are millions of businesses that do not have websites. Many large business networks do not have cohesive communities or social containers which foster positive communication and interaction. Social media strategies need to go beyond the creation of a page on Facebook or a Twitter ID."
In February, Group FMG also launched a specialised mobile digital marketing service. The new service enabled businesses and consumers design, develop and deliver interactive mobile solutions, apps and games across all mobile operating systems (OS) and devices that includes smartphones and tablets.
Group FMG was formed with the integration of Whitefield, a marketing solutions startup backed by Indian private equity firm India Value Fund Advisors and Neeraj Bhargava's Zodius Capital, with FMG (in which India Value Fund-led consortium invested about $20 million to pick a majority stake).
Last month, the company appointed Michael Esposito as senior vice-president & head of publishing for the company to manage Group FMG's global publishing vertical strategy, which includes business development, technology and operations.
