Loop Mobile, GETIT Introduce Getit On Loop; To Offer Local Search & Classifieds Services

Loop Mobile, a Mumbai-based service provider, has collaborated with GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, a local search and free classifieds services firm, to launch a service called 'Getit on Loop'. GETIT will now power Loop's local search and classifieds services for all Loop Mobile subscribers.

Loop users can access this service by dialling the short code 54422 and get connected with GETIT's local search and classified call centre agents. The search can be facilitated for general products and services like hotel, restaurants, taxi services, real estate agents, financial agents, packers & movers, etc. Through this classifieds service, individuals and businesses can either post their classified advertisements free of cost or avail special discounts in case of premium posting services.

Sidharth Gupta, CEO of GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, said, "The alliance will not only provide Loop customers with easy access to local search and classified services, but also help local advertisers to get more responses from Mumbai-based users."

Last August, the telco tied up with Mumbai-based ZiPCASH Card Services Pvt Ltd to offer an SMS-based mobile coupon service. Loop subscribers can use those to shop online, pay utility bills, purchase recharges for DTH and even buy movie tickets. The mobile wallet service is currently available only for Mumbai-based Loop subscribers.
