This Ahmedabad-based e-commerce firm had recently launched Infibeam Logistics, an in-house last-mile logistics delivery system last month and had expanded its delivery capabilities to cover Bangalore and Mumbai. Earlier, Infibeam had started its own logistics operations in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. Infibeam now intends to rev up logistics services in 10 more cities by 2012.
Infibeam Logistics has developed its own transportation management software platform which will be tuned for e-commerce companies. As the platform scales across multiple cities for Infibeam.com, the company expects to open up the software platform in coming months to other local delivery companies which do not have scanning and tracking services for local package delivery.
