Times Television Network which includes channels like Zoom, Times Now, ET Now and Movies Now has hired Ayesha Surty as head, syndication and digital revenues.
Surty's mandate will involve, focusing on building relationships and maximising revenue opportunities for content and increasing brand presence across platforms.
Based in Mumbai, Surty will report into Avinash Kaul, chief executive officer, Zoom and ET Now.
Till recently, she was with Imagine TV (Turner General Entertainment Network India) as associate director - content sales and digital media, looking after distribution and content monetisation. Originally run as NDTV Imagine, the general entertainment TV channel was rebranded as Imagine TV after US-based broadcasting major Turner acquired a majority stake in it from Indian broadcasting firm NDTV Ltd.
With almost 13 years of experience in management and marketing, Surty has worked with other companies like Star TV and Delta Airlines.
Avinash Kaul said, "Content of the network channels is deployed across all major digital platforms and to various national and international broadcasters. Surty's joining will take business to the next level ensuring that the content is made accessible to people across the globe through all possible platforms."
