Pune-based InnovizeTech Software that raised Series A funding has strengthened its management team by inducting former Dell India Sales head Ranjit Nambiar as VP to handle sales for its flagship software product Sapience, a patent-pending cloud-based solution.
Nambiar moves from Dell India, where he spent six years and rose to the position of India Head, S&P and Transactional Services Business. He comes with over 16 years of experience in sales and growing businesses in the large enterprise segment.
The company that raised Rs 4.5 crore in Series A round few weeks ago from a new fund called Seed Enterprises, has also brought a new board member Mitesh Bohra, representing the new investor.
Seed Enterprises is a new venture fund by Mitesh Bohra, Avinash Sethi and Siddharth Sethi, who previously co-founded InfoBeans Systems. Incidentally, Avinash Sethi has also joined InnovizeTech as a CMO.
The company's board already includes Harish Mehta representing Indian Angel Network. Angel investors in the firm Rehan Yar Khan and Google India chief Rajan Anandan who invested in the company in June 2010 as part of $350,000 in angel funding from Indian Angel Network are on the advisory board of the firm.
"The addition of Avinash Sethi and Ranjit Nambiar will help us to ramp up sales and marketing effort and expand our ability to aggressively reach out to our customer base," said Shirish Deodhar, InnovizeTech co-founder and CEO.
