Abhijit Saxena, chief executive officer of Netcore solutions, a digital marketing solutions provider, will resign from his position this month to start a mobile marketing agency.
On Saxena's resignation, the current COO Girish Nair will take over as the chief executive officer.
Saxena began his career with State Trading Corporation of India and later moved to Times of India for his first stint in media. In March, 1996 Abhijit joined Zee and in the last 10 years he has managed portfolio ranging from market research to advertising sales to subscription sales to programming and to managing channels and worked with Netcore for four years.
Now he plans to launch a mobile start-up that will deliver a holistic marketing solution including WAP and apps.
Mumbai-based Netcore Solutions develops e-mail and mobile solutions for small and medium businesses. Some include BlogStreet, a website on blogs providing analytics, search and directory services and Emergic CleanMail, which is a hosted anti-virus and anti-spam solution and a messaging service.
