Airtel Launches 3G Services In Gujarat

Bharti Airtel has brought its 3G services to yet another state. Gujarat will join the increasing list of states where Airtel is bringing its 3G services; the company recently launched its 3G services in Assam and other states in the North East circle. The company has more than 66 lakh customers in Gujarat.

"Having launched Airtel 3G services in 50 plus towns across India, we today have over 3 million customers that have Airtel 3G. We believe that Airtel 3G will lead the data and internet revolution in aapnu Gujarat" said Shivan Bhargava, COO- Gujarat, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel.

The services will be available in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Nadiad, Anand, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Amreli, Chikli, Dahej, Daman, Gandhidham, Godhra, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbander, Silvassa, Valsad, Vapi, Rajula, Diu, Una and Verawal.

The company had recently launched new high speed broadband plans in many parts of the country and was one of the two telecom operators to bring the Apple iPhone in India, the other being Aircel. Additionally the company has also launched International video calling services for its 3G customers in the country.
